The bay-fronted terraces near Erdington Abbey were fitted with heavy cast-iron gutters that have done a hundred years of service. By now many are rusting at the joints, sagging between brackets or leaking down the front bay, which over time damages the brickwork and woodwork below. We can repair short stretches, but where the metal has gone we replace with UPVC or aluminium, keeping a profile that still suits the street.
